Sr PM, NCRC & Returns, OOC, LATAM CFX
The Amazon Mexico team is looking for a talented, smart, and entrepreneurial Sr Product Manager to help us lead highly complex, high-impact initiatives that shape how millions of customers receive and return their orders from international fulfillment channels.
This is a high-visibility role with leadership-level exposure. You will define and deliver products that require deep technical acumen, data analytics, strong business judgment, and an ability to work across a broad range of WW and Local stakeholders including tech, other product managers, operations, supply chain, software engineering, category, legal, taxes, and finance teams.
We are looking for a leader with super-powers in analytics and getting things done (a not-that-frequent combination!). S/he should be a self-starter that thrives in ambiguity, with the ability to influence multi-functionally, and the willingness to roll up sleeves to execute in a dynamic environment.
As an NCRC & Returns Sr. PM, you will lead initiatives to enhance the customer experience in returns, solve for delivery and returns defects, reduce the cost of returns, and minimize Amazon-controllable refunds and concessions.
Your initiatives will shape strategy, drive customer satisfaction, and drive business growth and profitability across one of Amazon's most critical areas.
The role focuses on identifying opportunities and gaps in concessions & returns policies, operating procedures, network and product/program's logic, while designing, developing and executing a comprehensive master plan with strategic initiatives to improve the way we serve our customers.
A successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of our business and implement data-driven solutions with direct impact in Amazon's profitability.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Solutions Development and Launch:
Drive customer-centric innovation, using data to deeply understand pain points and craft scalable solutions. You follow Amazon product development best practices and work backwards to identify gaps and defects in customers shopping journey. You make use of business research and statistical analysis. You identify emerging use cases and clarify how they differ from existing solutions. You are data-driven and understand the risk of action. You understand a broad range of analytics techniques and know when to use them.
Program and Product Management:
Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution for key components of the Delivery and Returns Experience.
Sr PM for launching programs, features and initiatives to improve returns experience, reduce defects and refunds, and manage portfolio once launched. Align product vision with long-term business goals and influence cross-functional teams to deliver on that vision. Standardize processes across different business units and align recommended processes with stakeholders. Support with a business perspective other supply chain initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
Own returns and concessions at a process and experience level. Define and monitor metrics, perform root cause analysis on defects and implement remediation; own continuous improvement strategy. Function as a main point of contact for escalations, coordinating multi-functionally to provide advice, implement solutions, and monitor resolution on concessions, abuse, defects and supply chain topics.
