Job Description
As a Senior PCA, you will ensure the security and accountability of inventory through rigorous documentation, process verification, and system review. You will lead cycle counts, conduct physical inventories, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accuracy and efficiency. You will report to the Production and Inventory Control Manager and work in Shanghai, China.
Your Responsibilities
- Inventory security: Ensure accuracy and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation and system review.
- Cycle count leadership: Conduct physical inventories, lead cycle counts, and analyze discrepancies.
- Shipment auditing: Audit incoming and outgoing shipments to assure quality and accuracy.
- Discrepancy resolution: Investigate and correct cycle count variances when possible.
- Data documentation: Compile and document all transactions for accurate data entry.
The Essentials – You Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Background in auditing processes within manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Strong knowledge of cycle count methodologies and inventory reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma practices for process improvement.
