Description and Requirements
At Lenovo we strive to put more innovation in the hands of more people so they can do more amazing things. We are seeking enthusiastic, career-minded professionals to join our Inside Sales Team in Morrisville, NC as a Sr Mid-Market Client Leader for our team of Mid-Market Client Managers.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mid-Market Client Managers accountable for customer acquisition, retention, expansion, and overall account health
- Own the team’s revenue, profit, growth, and attainment objectives across Lenovo’s portfolio of devices, infrastructure, solutions, services, software, and accessories
- Establish a disciplined operating cadence for forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, pricing governance, opportunity inspection, and execution against quarterly priorities
- Translate segment strategy and market conditions into clear sales plays, coverage priorities, and measurable actions that improve productivity and accelerate growth
- Build a high-performance culture through regular coaching, talent development, performance management, recognition, and succession planning
- Guide complex and strategic opportunities from qualification through close, removing barriers, coordinating resources, and ensuring customer needs are addressed with relevant, outcome-based solutions
- Strengthen executive-level customer relationships and participate in virtual and on-site engagements that advance strategic opportunities and long-term partnerships
- Partner across sales, marketing, product, finance, operations, services, and channel teams to improve customer experience, resolve escalations, and deliver consistent business outcomes
- Use data and business insights to identify risks, whitespace, and growth opportunities; communicate performance, trends, and corrective actions to senior leadership
- Ensure adherence to company policies, business controls, pricing practices, and operational standards while continuously improving processes and team effectiveness
- Travel approximately 10% for customer meetings, team engagements, and business reviews
- BS or BA degree
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
*3+ years of previous sales team leadership and/or management
- Previous field (outside) sales experience and inside sales experience
- PC Industry/IT Hardware sales preferred
- Must have worked in a quota-carrying sales environment
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to influence others.
- Demonstrated experience in showing quarter over quarter growth in sales revenue with large accounts
