Description and Requirements
Position Summary
The Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring the effective planning and execution of daily operations related to inventory, warehouse and Service Centers management. This role supports business continuity through data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced Excel and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve efficiency, manage inventory accuracy, and support operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control daily material shipments and transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to operational plans.
- Oversee outbound operations across Service Centers, coordinating inventory allocation, order processing, shipping activities, and transportation planning to ensure service-level compliance and operational excellence.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Analyze operational data and provide actionable reports to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure material availability.
- Identify operational risks, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to automate reporting, data analysis, and process optimization.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Lead corrective actions when inventory or operational issues arise.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
