The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Specialist for our team in Wendell, NC (Greater Raleigh)

In this role, you'll help drive business growth through integrated marketing and communications initiatives by developing and executing marketing strategies, creating compelling campaigns and content, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen market presence and support business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong B2B marketing experience, exceptional communication and presentation skills, advanced visual storytelling capabilities, and the ability to align marketing efforts with Siemens’ broader business vision.

Employees are expected to be onsite up to two days per week, including Tuesdays as the designated team collaboration day. Additional onsite presence may be required based on business needs, meetings, events, or team initiatives.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Developing and executing strategic marketing and communications plans that align with business objectives, strengthen Siemens' market position, and increase brand awareness across key target markets.
  • Planning, managing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, social media, email marketing, events, trade shows, and other demand generation activities to drive customer engagement and business growth.
  • Creating compelling content and visual storytelling assets including presentations, brochures, whitepapers, case studies, videos, sales enablement materials, and other customer-facing communications that translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Partnering with sales and business development teams to develop customer-facing materials, messaging frameworks, and campaign assets that support customer engagement, sales effectiveness, and revenue growth.
  • Developing and executing internal and external communications initiatives by creating audience-focused messaging and communication strategies that align with business priorities and Siemens brand standards.
  • Leveraging market research, customer insights, and marketing analytics to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, measure performance, and provide recommendations that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinating and supporting industry events, conferences, webinars, and customer engagement activities that showcase Siemens solutions, reinforce thought leadership, and strengthen market presence.
  • Exploring, evaluating, and adopting emerging marketing technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to improve content quality, workflow efficiency, audience engagement, and campaign effectiveness while maintaining high standards for creativity, accuracy, and brand integrity.
  • Driving marketing process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows, tools, content management practices, and campaign execution processes to improve scalability and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborating across functions and managing marketing resources effectively, partnering with sales, product management, corporate marketing and communications, and business leaders while managing budgets and priorities to maximize organizational impact and return on investment.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and executing B2B marketing and communications strategies, campaigns, and programs that drive measurable business results.
  • Experience planning and managing integrated multi-channel marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, demand generation, events, and customer engagement programs.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, visual, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to develop audience-focused messaging, influence stakeholders, and translate complex technical concepts into compelling customer-focused stories.
  • Proven experience developing marketing and communications content, including presentations, sales enablement materials, whitepapers, case studies, campaign assets, and internal and external communications.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint, with demonstrated ability to create visually compelling presentations, marketing collateral, and customer-facing materials through effective visual storytelling and design.
  • Experience supporting sales and business development efforts through the development of presentations, messaging frameworks, customer-facing communications, and marketing assets that contribute to business growth.
  • Experience leveraging market research, customer insights, analytics, and AI-enabled marketing tools to support content development, campaign planning, audience engagement, and data-driven decision-making. Demonstrated ability to pair creative thinking and marketing expertise with sound judgment to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, stakeholders, budgets, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional and matrixed organizations, partnering effectively with sales, product management, marketing communications, and business leadership teams while maintaining a curious, adaptable approach to marketing innovation and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B marketing within the power equipment, electrification, automation, infrastructure, industrial technology, or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience using marketing technology platforms, content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, or experimenting with AI-powered solutions, AI agents, chatbots, workflow automation technologies, or advanced marketing technology tools.
  • Experience creating multimedia, video, or digital content to support customer engagement and brand awareness initiatives.

The pay range for this position is 66,973 - 114,811 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
