Sr. HR Business Partner, AWS NAMER
We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support multiple Directors within AWS Global Sales (AGS) North America (NAMER), one of the largest and fastest growing sales organizations at Amazon. AGS NAMER operates with an industry and segment focused go to market approach spanning various industries.
As a Senior HRBP, you will partner directly with senior sales leaders on talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and workforce planning in a market where GenAI and cloud computing talent is in high demand. You will operate at the intersection of commercial and technical domains, supporting a diverse sales and technical workforce navigating rapid business transformation, evolving go to market models, and accelerating customer adoption of cloud and AI services.
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to learn complex, diverse businesses in depth, understand nuanced differences between sales roles and go to market motions, influence with data, drive people initiatives that lead to measurable business impact, and coach senior leaders to maximize their leadership effectiveness. Prior experience supporting sales organizations or go to market teams is a plus, but not essential for the candidate who is excited to dive in and learn. In this role, you will also be part of the broader AGS PXT team and will drive key talent priorities across the NAMER organization.
Key job responsibilities
Coach and consult senior sales leaders on organizational design and management issues, including challenging and influencing decision making processes
Develop and execute a lifecycle approach to HR programs such as performance management, compensation cycles, and talent management by assessing organizational performance, defining talent gaps, and proposing solutions in support of business objectives
Support organizational design and workforce planning in a rapidly evolving go to market environment, including industry segmentation, customer coverage model changes, and new team stand ups
Implement employee engagement strategies to foster a high performance, inclusive environment rooted in Amazon's Leadership Principles
Streamline and implement new processes to create speed, efficiency, and agility within the organization
Lead change management efforts around culture and process evolution, including supporting transitions tied to new customer segmentation models and org restructures
Develop thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development, and retention
Facilitate the consistent application, implementation, and improvement of Human Resources programs
Partner with the HRP team and business leaders to manage day to day employee relations issues, in line with local legislation
Collaborate with leaders to execute recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives and support internal mobility across a geographically distributed sales organization
A day in the life
Your day blends strategic planning, leadership coaching, and hands-on problem-solving. You'll engage with senior leaders, analyze workforce trends, and design initiatives that transform how we support and develop our talented professionals — all while keeping the employee experience at the center.
