Are you a customer-obsessed Solution Architect with a passion for helping customers achieve their full potential? Do you have a background in Migrating and Modernization on-premise workloads to the cloud, do you also have commercial awareness necessary to help position AWS as the cloud provider?

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Senior Go-to-Market Specialist to join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) in the Infrastructure Migration and Modernization (IMM) team. This role will focus on our Latin America region - Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and other NOLA countries.

As an IMM Go-to-Market Specialist, you will help drive solutions for our customers who are aiming to migrate their workloads typically residing on VMware on premise solutions to AWS native technologies via our many VMware migration pathways. You will also have a good understanding of Microsoft technologies including .NET frameworks and other workloads including Linux, VDI, storage, database and Container solutions.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop go-to-market motions and scaling mechanisms within the LATAM region.
  • Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with field and LATAM teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
  • Provide specialist technical knowledge to your aligned teams to unblock our customers’ largest and most critical business challenges.
  • Collaborate with your Specialist colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
  • Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re:Invent.
  • Create internal field enablement materials for the Field to help them understand how to migrate VMware on premise datacenters to AWS migration pathways.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
  • Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 6+ years of GTM, business development, sales, or consulting experience, including selling enterprise software/cloud-based applications and developing/negotiating business agreements.
  • 6+ years working with application modernization and migration technologies (mainframe, serverless, containers, cloud operations), with 4+ years responding to RFPs and matching technical solutions to requirements.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence organizational-level leadership decisions and managing cross-functional programs with coordinated processes and release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • Knowledge of publisher ad tech stacks and/or advertising technology
