About the Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in modernizing and transforming the financial forecasting and planning process through advanced analytics, automation, and business intelligence solutions. You will partner closely with leaders across two business lines to deliver actionable insights, improve decision-making, and drive financial performance. This role blends strong FP&A expertise with information systems and data analytics capabilities, leveraging Power BI, AI-enabled tools, and automation technologies to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency. Success in this role is defined by your ability to build scalable financial models, influence stakeholders, and turn complex data into strategic business recommendations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning analyses for multiple business lines.
- Design and build Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable financial and operational insights.
- Leverage data analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Partner with finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting, visualization, and analytics solutions.
- Automate recurring financial processes and reporting activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to business partners and leadership teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on modernizing finance systems, data processes, and forecasting methodologies.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across financial planning and reporting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or related financial analysis roles.
- Advanced expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA/macros, and automation techniques.
- Experience utilizing data analytics to drive business insights and support financial decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders and influence outcomes across business functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple business lines or complex organizational structures.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled analytics, predictive forecasting, or machine learning applications within finance.
- Experience with process automation technologies and workflow optimization tools.
- Experience working at the intersection of Finance and Information Systems.
- Familiarity with modern business intelligence, data governance, and reporting best practices.
