Sr Associate Software Development Engineer in Test
Software product development and testing services for SAS’s Global Solutions Product Portfolio. The high-level scope of work is outlined below.
- Design, enhance, and deliver functionalities for SAS’s Global Solutions Product Portfolio in accordance with defined roadmaps.
- Develop and deliver high-quality, testable, and scalable software within established timelines, adhering to SAS best practices, standards, and processes.
- Implement features and functionalities as per defined specifications (including UI and mid-tier as applicable) and write unit test cases.
- Ensure adherence to project-specific non-functional requirements, including Accessibility (A11Y), Internationalization (I18N), Performance, and Security Compliance.
- Address and resolve functional, I18N, A11Y, Security, and Performance issues as reported.
- Draft test plans, write test cases, and perform exploratory, functional, and accessibility testing, including scanning for security vulnerabilities.
- Implement automation scripts and frameworks for the automated testing of developed functionalities.
- Participate in project scoping and scheduling; track the progress of individual tasks and alert stakeholders of any issues blocking or preventing task completion.
- Ensure quality of deliverables through functional, unit, and regression testing.
- Collaborate with SAS technical writers to author appropriate levels of design and technical documentation for both internal and external consumers.
- Acquire necessary understanding and knowledge of SAS’s products, tools, and processes as applicable. Complete suggested or assigned training as required.
