About the Role

This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).

The Sr Associate Product Marketing Manager, Talent and Insights, will oversee product marketing initiatives in support of Workday Talent and Insights products and solutions, with a primary focus on Employee Experience and Engagement GTM and a secondary focus supporting the Talent Acquisition Product Marketing team. 

With Product Marketing being part of the Product organization, the ideal candidate will contribute to the development and execution of numerous campaigns and activities to help drive awareness and generate demand for our Talent Management products, including newly released enhancements, targeting both net new and existing customers.

The ideal candidate will contribute to cross-functional projects from conception to execution while keeping key stakeholders informed and maintain buy-in from senior cross-functional leaders. 

This is a hands-on role that will partner closely with marketing, sales, and other solution marketing teams, leading the creation of compelling persona-centric narratives, campaign messaging, engaging solution-driven content and sales assets. The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller with great communication skills and has proven experience at working cross-functionally and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities

  • Own the development of creative and compelling content, including product documentation, videos, webinars, presentations, FAQs, sales sheets, blog posts, and customer communication. 
  • Ensure Workday’s employee engagement messaging is effectively integrated into our Talent solutions positioning and adopted across the entire organization. 
  • Partner with Customer Success and Customer Advocacy teams to cultivate, define, own customer stories and value testimonials 
  • Own and maintain a highly strategic, value-driven, messaging foundation across all Workday products. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales assets and activation materials to develop strategies to maximize win rates.
  • Closely partner with the Sales Enablement to help define and drive Solution-focused enablement content to drive internal activation and adoption of new solution messaging and positioning strategies. 
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product teams, in support of new Solution Marketing initiatives 
  • Build strong relationships across Workday functional and regional teams in order to drive service awareness
  • Occasional travel

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of product/solutions/services/enablement marketing experience. 

Other Qualifications:

  • Results-driven product or services marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals
  • Additional experience in the HR industry is a plus.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience designing sales collateral based on sales conversations, calls, market research, and own expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-organizationally, especially with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management.
  • Objectivity and openness to others' views and continuously builds a positive team spirit
  • Drives teamwork and collaborative information sharing
  • Bachelor’s degree

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
