Role Summary

 The Specialist, Affiliate Operations & Compliance is responsible for the operational management, reporting, governance, and compliance oversight of McAfee's affiliate marketing program. This role serves as the internal subject matter expert for program policies, processes, reporting frameworks, platform administration, and publisher compliance management. 

The ideal candidate combines operational excellence, analytical rigor, project management expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the affiliate program operates efficiently, compliantly, and at scale. 

This is a Hybrid position located in any of our Hub locations. You will be required to be on-site on an as-needed basis. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to NYC and are not offering relocation assistance at this time 

Position Details

About the role: 

Program Operations & Governance 

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on affiliate program history, processes, systems, and operational best practices. 
  • Support Finance, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and Executive Leadership teams with reporting, approvals, and business requests. 
  • Maintain affiliate program documentation, operational standards, and governance processes. 
  • Manage publisher classification frameworks, platform mapping, and affiliate program administration. 
  • Lead operational projects that improve scalability, efficiency, and program effectiveness. 

Compliance Management 

  • Own publisher compliance monitoring and governance processes. 
  • Partner closely with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to affiliate marketing policies and requirements. 
  • Manage publisher health reporting and ongoing compliance assessments. 
  • Lead compliance conversations and remediation efforts with affiliate partners, including push-notification partners and networks. 
  • Identify risks and proactively recommend solutions to improve affiliate program health and partner quality. 

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Produce recurring affiliate performance reports, business reviews, and executive summaries. 
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Maintain pacing documents, scorecards, forecasting inputs, and operational dashboards. 
  • Partner with Analytics teams to develop compliance monitoring and publisher health reporting. 
  • Deliver insights that support decision-making and program optimization. 

Program Enablement & Cross-Functional Support 

  • Educate internal stakeholders on affiliate program processes and requirements. 
  • Support operational readiness planning for product launches, regional expansions, and major initiatives. 
  • Coordinate translation requirements, tracking needs, and implementation support for affiliate partners. 
  • Manage affiliate tracking links, platform configurations, and operational maintenance activities. 
  • Collaborate across marketing, analytics, finance, legal, compliance, and product teams to support program success. 

About you:   

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.  
  • 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing operations, digital marketing operations, compliance, or program management.  
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.  
  • Experience developing executive-level reporting and performance insights.  
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.  
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse stakeholder groups. 
  • Knowledge of subscription businesses, ecommerce, or digital consumer products.  
  • Experience collaborating with product, analytics, finance, and marketing teams. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data to drive business decisions. 
  • Experience managing budgets, promotions, incentives, or partner investments. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Pay Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $85,800.00/Yr. - USD $140,955.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
