Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for mechanical commodity sourcing (RFx) for the Desktop and Workstation PC business.

Develop, execute, and optimize sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives in cost savings, supply assurance, tariff mitigation, and risk management.

Manage assigned commodities, including market analysis, supply and cost trend forecasting, contract management, price negotiations, spend/share analysis, and other commercial activities.

Manage suppliers, including AVL (Approved Vendor List), SPE (Supplier Performance Evaluation), QBR (Quarterly Business Review), and follow-up actions.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive sourcing strategies and support DFC (Design for Cost) and DFS (Design for Supply) initiatives.

Support sourcing activities related to Lenovo's KSA manufacturing expansion and AI PC initiatives.

Support or lead BMS digital transformation initiatives, including report automation and workflow automation projects.

Job Requirements

5+ years of experience in sourcing, cost engineering, R&D, or related functions within the PC, server, or electronics industry.

Knowledge of PC, server, AI, or other electronic industry mechanical components and platform parts.

Strong analytical thinking, data analysis, and reporting capabilities; Power BI experience is preferred.

Strong end-to-end cost optimization mindset and risk management capabilities.

Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Strong business results orientation and a self-driven working style.
