Job Description - Role Overview
Role Summary
The Senior Services Solutions Executive (SSE) is responsible for driving business growth across Lenovo’s Solutions & Services Group (SSG) portfolio, with a strong focus on Smart Manufacturing solutions, including automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and digital supply chain transformation. This role requires a consultative sales professional who can engage executive stakeholders, develop strategic account plans, and lead complex enterprise sales opportunities from inception through closure. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Customer Engagement
- Drive the adoption and expansion of Smart Manufacturing solutions across large enterprise customers throughout the Asia Pacific region.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate digital transformation, automation, and operational efficiency across manufacturing value chains.
- Establish and grow relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, positioning Lenovo as a trusted advisor.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans aligned with revenue, growth, and market expansion objectives.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution development, proposal creation, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Lead complex RFP and RFQ responses, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and Lenovo’s services capabilities.
Solution Selling & Digital Transformation
- Lead the development of integrated solutions spanning Smart Manufacturing, AI, Hybrid Cloud, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Device as a Service (DaaS), and Digital Workplace Solutions.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product specialists, and delivery teams to design outcome-driven transformation programs.
- Translate customer business objectives and technical requirements into scalable, value-based solutions.
Account Leadership & Growth
- Partner closely with Client Managers and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Drive land-and-expand strategies that increase services adoption and long-term customer value.
- Contribute to account leadership initiatives that support sustainable revenue growth and customer success.
Industry Leadership & Collaboration
- Build relationships with CXO-level stakeholders across manufacturing, industrial, logistics, and warehouse sectors.
- Provide market insights, customer feedback, and industry trends to influence solution strategy and portfolio development.
- Represent Lenovo at industry events, executive forums, and customer engagements to strengthen market presence and thought leadership in Smart Manufacturing and Industry 5.0.
- Coordinate with regional and global teams, including sales, finance, delivery, and ecosystem partners, to ensure successful execution of complex opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Must-Have
- 8+ years of experience in solutions or services sales, preferably within IT services, digital transformation, or enterprise technology environments.
- 3+ years of experience selling complex, multi-solution, or enterprise-scale engagements.
- Demonstrated success in closing strategic opportunities and managing long, consultative sales cycles.
- Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Strong consultative selling, stakeholder management, negotiation, and business case development skills.
- Ability to engage and influence senior decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities.
- Willingness to travel across the Asia Pacific region as required.
Industry & Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0/5.0 technologies, including:
- Robotics, automation systems, AGVs, and AMRs
- Industrial IoT and Digital Twin technologies
- Artificial Intelligence, computer vision, and advanced analytics
- Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, and digital supply chain ecosystems
- Proven ability to position technology solutions within broader business transformation initiatives.
Good-to-Have
- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation programs with a focus on Operational Technology (OT) and manufacturing solutions.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), and related partner ecosystems.
- Background in consulting, pre-sales, or strategic advisory roles.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are advantageous
