About this opportunity:
Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a Solution Architect. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with analysing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions in your respective technical domain. These solutions will be based on customer specifications and business needs. As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating both short- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.
Candidates should possess working expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Telecom Core & Service Layer: GSM / IN call flows, LTE / IMS concepts
- Operating Systems: Linux (System Administration level proficiency)
- Hardware Knowledge: HP Blade servers, EBS, EMC/Dell storage systems
- Databases: Oracle, Cassandra
- System and Application Integration experience: Integrating OSS/BSS applications with external systems, network elements, and third-party platforms.
- Clustering Concepts: Basic understanding of HA and redundancy setups
- Containerization & Orchestration: Fundamentals of Docker and Kubernetes
- Networking: Good understanding of IP networking, client-server architecture
- Protocols: Proficient understanding of TCP/IP, Telnet, SOAP, REST, XML, etc.
What will you do: - Proven experience with Telecom Provisioning COTS products
o Ericsson Multi Activation (EMA)
o Ericsson Dynamic Activation (EDA)
- Clear understanding of Telecom subscriber and service provisioning concepts
- Strong exposure to server installation, configuration, and integration activities
- Working knowledge of industry-standard telecom protocols and interfaces (SOAP/XML, REST, HTTP)
- Ability to:
- Translate business requirements into High-Level Designs (HLDs)
- Convert HLDs into Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
• Prepare Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and related deployment documentation.
- As a System Integration Engineer (SSI), you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and integration of activation and provisioning systems in live telecom environments.
- Analyse and understand technical requirements as defined in solution or design documents
- Install and configure provisioning systems at customer sites
- Integrate systems with relevant Network Elements (IMS, LTE, IN Nodes, etc.)
- Execute integration testing and resolve technical issues proactively
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist customers through acceptance phases.
- Provide regular progress and risk updates to Solution Architect and Customer Project Manager (CPM).
- Continuously upskill in emerging solution areas and pursue relevant certifications.
