• Consulting: Helping clients understand their digital maturity, create an evolution plan based on their priorities, improve production excellence, process improvement, define business digitalization, and reduce costs.
• Digital Solution Design: Understanding client needs and transforming them into technological solutions (both IT and OT).
• Digital Solution Implementation: Implementing software development applications, data platforms, Cloud & On-Prem infrastructures, reporting systems, LowCode applications, etc.

Your Role

We are looking for a Solution Architect – Software to join our growing team in Iberia. As a Solution Architect, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for designing, shaping, and governing the architecture of transformative software solutions. You will bridge business requirements with technical execution, lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, shape strategic customer opportunities, drive pre-sales initiatives, and mentor technical talent to build organizational capability.

Your mission will be to define end-to-end solution architectures that are technically sound, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives and Siemens governance requirements. You will act as a strategic technical authority across solution design, architecture definition, and customer-critical engagements.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end solution architectures across software, cloud, data, and AI-enabled initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational capabilities
• Translate business requirements and strategic objectives into technically feasible solution designs, architecture blueprints, and implementation approaches
• Lead architecture definition across application layers, data flows, integration patterns, security requirements, and operational considerations
• Provide senior technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams, guiding complex technical decisions and delivery challenges
• Shape strategic customer solutions by defining technical approaches that drive business value and competitive advantage
• Support pre-sales and proposal activities contributing to technical estimates, feasibility analysis, and executive-ready documentation
• Communicate and defend architectural designs to executive stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business implications
• Mentor and coach technical team members supporting capability development, architectural maturity, and professional growth
• Manage project budgets and timelines ensuring financial and schedule viability
• Ensure solutions meet agreed standards for scalability, performance, resilience, cybersecurity, data privacy, and operational readiness

What You Offer

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or comparable technical discipline

Experience:

• 8-10+ years of relevant professional experience as a Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer, or in similar senior technical leadership roles
• Proven experience designing, delivering, and leading complex technology solutions in multidisciplinary environments with strategic customer engagement
• Demonstrated technical leadership guiding multiple development teams and making architectural decisions
• Experience with Generative AI, AI-enabled solutions, AI-assisted software engineering, and intelligent automation
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders and shape strategic customer solutions
• Experience contributing to pre-sales activities, proposals, and solution concepts with demonstrated business impact

Technical Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge in end-to-end solution architecture and strategic design
• Advanced proficiency in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), microservices, and cloud-native architectures
• Strong expertise in data architecture, API design, integration patterns, DevOps, and security principles
• Generative AI, AI-enabled solutions, and intelligent automation architectures
• Technology selection and architecture trade-off analysis

Technical Knowledge (High Level Required):

• Project Management & Technical Leadership
• Microsoft Azure
• SQL
• Excel and PowerPoint
• AI/ML Concepts and Generative AI
• Professional Certifications (cloud, architecture, or AI-related) – Required
