Description and Requirements
Job Responsibilities(What You’ll Drive):
• Pioneering Interaction Models: Invent entirely new UX paradigms and "signature" interaction possibilities that break away from traditional screen, keyboard, and mouse constraints to set the standard for future ambient computing.
• Visionary Experiences: Turn abstract AI capabilities into clear, end-to-end conceptual journeys that guide our product roadmaps and drive long-term influence and adoption.
• Behavioral Choreography: Shape how the software dynamically responds, anticipates needs, and recedes into the background when human attention is elsewhere, establishing an unmistakable, ownable feel.
• Technical Simulation: Build functional, code-backed or advanced interactive prototypes that bring complex, multi-layered ambient AI ecosystems to life.
• Technical Conduit: Act as the operational bridge between design, research, and engineering, translating high-level vision into testable, interactive systems.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
• 5-7 years in product design, UX architecture, or technical interaction design for advanced consumer software.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• A portfolio showcasing flagship product innovations and novel UX paradigms.
• A proven track record of influencing cross-functional product roadmaps from concept to realization.
• Technical proficiency and fluency in modern AI tooling and prototyping.
What We’re Looking For:
• Systemic Thinker: You look past isolated screens and industry standards to design holistic user journeys across multiple touchpoints and shifting states.
• UX Innovator: You know when to discard convention to build breakthrough, paradigm-shifting experiences that shape where the industry goes next.
• Ambiguity Navigator: You thrive when the path isn’t defined, using narrative, principled frameworks, and conceptual models to create clarity and momentum.
• Human-Centric: You balance high-ambition, futuristic ideals with deep human empathy, ensuring these signature moments are genuinely useful in practice.
• Technical Fluency: You pair deep interaction design fundamentals with strong technical abilities, comfortable using modern stacks and rapid prototyping frameworks to test complex logic.
Nice to Have
• Experience designing software for AI-first operating systems or ambient computing environments.
• Background in motion design, game design, or cinematic pacing to orchestrate complex transitions.
• Familiarity with physical or spatial computing environments.
• Experience running emerging technology user research.
Why This Role Matters
• In an ambient computing landscape where traditional interactions are being re-imagined, a distinct, forward-looking signature experience is our biggest differentiator. This role is the emotional and functional heartbeat of our ecosystem — inventing the interactions that will drive future adoption and define the next era of technology.
