The Internship assignment:

We are the Quality Data Lab, central to the data science and analytics efforts at Giga Berlin. You will be supporting our team in day-to-day business tasks by preparing presentations, workshops and coding task. You will also assist with the development of dashboards and ETL pipelines, code deployment, and be part of problem-solving efforts. Responsibilities

Getting an impression of how to build data team and how to manage data projects.

Supporting in coding and developing ETL pipelines so that you can further improve your coding skills.

Work with stakeholders to take a problem statement, refine the scope of the analysis, and use the results to drive informed decisions.

Creating meaningful visualizations and preparing presentations.

Assisting in designing, the development and the deployment of data-driven solutions.

You will work in close collaboration with other team members on complex problem solving and coding tasks.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in BS/MS Computer Science or related field.

Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript.

Skilled in writing software in a professional environment.

Experience building data visualizations and dashboards (Dash, plotly, matplotlib, panel…)

Strong problem-solving skills to help refine problem statements and figure out how to solve them with the available data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clearly documenting your work is key.

Smart but humble, with a bias for action.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple tasks at hand.
