Software Engineer, Cross Border Science and Analytics
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the XB Science team — a centralized applied science function that builds and deploys ML-powered systems driving cross-border product discovery, selection optimization, compliance automation, and demand forecasting across 20+ international marketplaces. The SDE will partner directly with Applied Scientists to productionize, scale, and operationalize ML models that generate $100M+ in business impact annually.
Key job responsibilities
Own the end-to-end production deployment and scaling of ML models — from SageMaker training pipelines to real-time/batch inference endpoints serving millions of ASINs across 20+ country arcs
Build and maintain automated ML pipelines: data ingestion, feature engineering, model retraining, inference orchestration (Cradle, SageMaker, Glue, S3, Lambda)
Architect for zero-code-change market expansion — design systems that scale to new countries, languages, and programs through configuration rather than re-engineering
Own production excellence: monitoring, alerting, on-call, runbooks, SLA adherence, latency/IMR optimization, and HOTW compliance
Build agentic AI infrastructure — orchestration frameworks, tool-use APIs, and guardrails for AI agents
