Software Development Engineer – Industrial Networks and Security

What are your responsibilities?
- Design and implement firmware features for industrial routers and security devices
- Develop networking functionality including routing, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, and remote-access solutions
- Contribute to secure connectivity solutions supporting industrial automation and critical infrastructure
- Drive feature development from concept to customer deployment
What do you need to qualify for this job?
- BSc., MSc. Or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Control Engineering or related areas
- Proven 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Experience with Embedded Linux development / Linux Kernel
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Experience in VPN technologies (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard)
- Experience in firewalls and cybersecurity products
- Experience using Git-based development workflows
- Ability to analyze and solve system-level software issues
- Experience in Docker and Container technologies
- Experience in development of industrial communication network protocols, tools, and libraries (Switching & Routing Protocols, Netlink, Netfilter, Iproute2, CONFD, NETCONF, SNMP, etc.)
- Experience in CI/CD and DevOps pipelines
- Experience in Azure DevOps or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills in an international engineering environment
What else do I need to know?
- Fluent command of English is a must
- No restrictions for travelling abroad temporarily.
