Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain core software systems that power our electronic design automation solutions. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with talented engineers globally to deliver high-quality software that drives innovation in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust C/C++ applications in Linux environments with a focus on performance and scalability.
- Design and implement user interfaces using modern C++ GUI frameworks such as wxWidgets and Qt.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver features.
- Contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across the software stack.
- Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes using source control systems like SVN and Git.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming in a Linux development environment, with OOP proficiency and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficient understanding of GUI concepts and strong knowledge of C++ GUI frameworks (wxWidgets, Qt), with good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and/or Tcl.
- Experience with source control systems like SVN or Git.
- Familiarity with computer technology and x86 architecture is a plus.

Our Benefits & Rewards
The salary range for this position is USD 31,200 to USD 43,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
