This is opening within Business Support Software Engineering, part of Service Area Network Engineering and Digital Transformation, where we develop and maintain software solutions that are used in Network Rollout projects all over the world.

We are looking for a Student Developer / Integrator Intern to join our ID Connect team that develops an integration and orchestration layer that connects Ericsson’s Intelligent Deployment environment with customer and supplier systems. It automates data exchange, milestone and checklist updates, document/acceptance workflows, and synchronization between systems.

What you will do
- Own the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, integration, release, and documentation.
- Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code that sets the standard for the team.
- Test and document developed features with care and precision.
- Handle bug reports related to features developed by the team, turning problems into improvements.
- Work with a powerful, modern tech stack: Python, Go, JavaScript, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.
- Be part of a highly collaborative and innovative team.
You will bring
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field in Hungary.
- Availability to work onsite at Ericsson for at least 12 consecutive months (30 hours per week).
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies and take on challenges work in a collaborative team environment.
- Flexible attitude and clear quality focus.
- Experience in Python, including object-oriented programming, decorators, and exposure to web frameworks such as FastAPI
- Some experience in JavaScript and Go
- Understanding API concepts, RESTful services, HTTP methods, and common data formats such as JSON and XML
- Basic understanding of system integration concepts and enterprise workflow automation through academic projects, coursework, or personal initiatives
- Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, gained through coursework or personal projects
- Awareness of messaging and event-driven architecture
- Basic knowledge of file transfer protocols such as SFTP and FTPS; familiarity with cloud-based file transfer solutions is a plus
- Understanding database connectivity concepts, including ODBC and JDBC
- Interest in DevOps practices and exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools through academic or personal projects
- Understanding of microservices, containerization, and cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing, DNS, and network communication fundamentals
- Foundational understanding of cloud computing concepts and services, preferably within AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS)
- Interest in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry would be advantageous
