You’ll make an impact by
- You design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ embedded software for innovative, modular edge control applications, ensuring that our solutions meet the requirements of industrial automation
- Building on this, you contribute to OT/IT convergence initiatives by integrating advanced technologies that bridge operational and information technology domains
- In close collaboration with cross-functional teams, you deliver reliable and safe industrial automation solutions, aligning your work with agile development principles
- Furthermore, you advance test automation to guarantee product quality and stability throughout the development lifecycle
- Finally, you actively support the agile product release process, ensuring that new functionalities and improvements are delivered efficiently and with high quality
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant initial professional experience or a completed technical apprenticeship with several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience & Skills:
- Strong expertise in modern C++ and real-time Linux/POSIX-based development
- Solid understanding of compiler toolchains, including compilation, linking, and build processes, as well as hands-on experience with CI/CD and version control
- Familiarity with the industrial automation domain, SIMATIC AX, and IEC 61131-3 programming languages
- Ways of working: You demonstrate flexibility, a willingness to learn, and excel in agile, cross-functional teams
- Languages: You are fluent in both German and English
