- Build embedded application software integrating peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO) and wireless protocol stacks to deliver customer demos and reference solutions.
- Create demos and reference solutions leveraging IEEE 802.15.4-based wireless protocol stacks (Zigbee, Thread, Matter, Proprietary RF) to accelerate customer evaluation and production development
- Write clean and scalable code that meets functional and non-functional requirements, with a focus on simplicity, readability, and maintainability
- Design software solutions with a test-driven development approach to validate functionality, ensure code coverage, and drive continuous improvement
- Define and own software products, from planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, and release
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on software strategy and customer needs
- Debug and address software issues during development and in production systems to support customers
- Conduct thorough code reviews and promote best practices and coding standards
What we're looking for:
- The ability to drive engineering excellence and exercise technical maturity. Advance conversations and execution even when the right thing is unclear, ambiguous, or unknown
- Comfortable operating at the hardware/software boundary. Able to read schematics, reference datasheets, and trace bugs across peripheral interfaces, RTOS, and protocol stacks
- A proven track record of shipping or solving hard problems
- Brings new ideas for product innovation and helps improve software development processes
- Organized, informed, and effective communicator for collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving alignment with stakeholders
- Self-motivated, accountable team player that takes initiative and can work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
