About the role:
The selected candidate will be an integral member of the Pipeline Operations team, overseeing the daily build and integration processes for the Simcenter Testlab family of physical and simulation testing tools.
General Job Description: Monitor and report on the product builds within a TeamCity environment. Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve failures efficiently. Utilize existing automated tools to streamline the integration build process. Work with the Pipeline Operations team to reduce overhead by developing a more efficient and maintainable build system.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the health of code integrations and product builds within TeamCity.
- Manage and enhance the build system by investigating root causes, resolving issues, and improving maintainability.
- Introduce and maintain build configurations and revisions within TeamCity.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of build and integration issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to identify, report, and resolve system and machine failures.
- Partner with the Pipeline Operations team to modernize and modularize the build and release pipeline.
- Contribute to the migration of build and release processes toward GitHub and GitLab-based pipelines.
- Introduce and support new Visual Studio releases and associated toolchains.
- Upgrade and maintain pipeline tooling, including signing tools, Python environments, compilers, and related dependencies.
- Implement infrastructure and IT updates while ensuring continued build and release functionality.
- Maintain centralized credential management and ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Support the migration of build infrastructure and services into datacenter environments.
- Provide technical support to development teams, addressing issues ranging from automated build failures to local workstation problems.
- Collaborate with tooling teams to identify, implement, and validate fixes.
- Configure and maintain Coverity analysis, communicating findings and recommendations to development teams.
- Enhance and maintain Conan package management infrastructure and workflows.
- Extend and support end-to-end build and release pipelines, from source control through installation packaging.
- Manage build promotion, release readiness, and distribution processes.
- Administer and maintain persistent build and pipeline data.
- Analyze unstable or intermittent test failures, driving reproducibility and resolution.
- Integrate and maintain external Jenkins-based documentation pipelines.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new build infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Simcenter Testlab is a plus.
- Strong understanding of TeamCity or similar continuous integration platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving build, integration, and deployment issues.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across development and infrastructure teams.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Experience with Python and Windows batch scripting.
- Familiarity with C++ and/or C# development environments.
- Experience with build automation tools and technologies, including Make or similar systems.
- Understanding of source control systems such as Git.
- Experience working with package management and artifact repositories, such as Conan, is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The primary locations for this opportunity are Romania, Belgium, Czech Republic and Egypt. The applicable salary ranges for these locations are:
RON186,000– RON353,000(Romania)
EUR61,500-EUR110,700 (Belgium)
CZK995,400-CZK1,791,800 (Czech Republic)
USD33,500-67,000 (Egypt)
This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
