Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a Procurement Professional to support our Services and Solutions Group (SSG) portfolio, with a focus on both warranty-side and revenue-side strategic sourcing initiatives across the Latin American region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing a variety of PC hardware-related services in alignment with Lenovo’s policies and best practices. This includes negotiating contract terms with third-party service providers to ensure the highest quality services are delivered at the best value.

Working with a One Lenovo perspective, the Procurement Professional will partner with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies, identify and onboard new service providers, drive supplier performance against agreed terms, and recommend cost-saving opportunities where appropriate. Strong vendor relationship management and contract expertise will be essential to ensuring superior service delivery in support of Lenovo’s SSG portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the growth of Services & Solutions by driving revenue generation, profit contribution, and Lenovo’s industry reputation through effective strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and service provider management.
  • Source a variety of warranty service types, including onsite repair, depot repair, contact centers, and customer carry-in repair, as applicable.
  • Manage and optimize Lenovo’s spend with service providers, delivering procurement value-add through savings and cost-avoidance.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and serviceability for Lenovo executives and operations teams through effective service provider selection and engagement.
  • Ensure strong business controls are in place across sourcing, contracts, spending, and service provider management.
  • Champion best practices and continuous improvement in strategic sourcing, including RFQ generation, bid assessment, service provider selection, contract negotiation, supplier management, and service delivery oversight.

Position Requirements

Skills & Abilities

  • Contract Drafting: Strong knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) terms; ability to draft, revise, and negotiate commercial contract language.
  • Project Management: Excellent prioritization, multitasking, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Procurement Acumen: Experience in indirect procurement, including operational efficiencies, cost modeling methodologies, and performance optimization.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate with service providers and senior management, applying both analytical and creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Analytics: Skilled in competitive bid analysis, cost analysis, fair-value assessments, and scenario modeling.
  • AI & Digital Fluency: Ability to embrace, adapt to, and optimize AI-powered tools (e.g., spend analytics, contract lifecycle automation, intelligent dashboards, and agentic AI assistants) to increase efficiency, insight generation, and decision-making quality.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify objectives, analyze root causes, mitigate risks, and propose/implement effective solutions.
  • Business Maturity: Comfortable making sound business decisions, preparing executive presentations, and briefing senior leaders.
  • Research Orientation: Strong fact-seeking skills to assess services being purchased, ensuring strategies and negotiations are data-driven.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and effective in evolving business requirements or organizational structures.
  • Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a matrixed team environment while maintaining independence in driving deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Language Skills:
    • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
    • Intermediate proficiency in Portuguese (spoken and written) its a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MBA or legal background preferred.
  • Multi-year experience in procurement, contract management, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience in services procurement or technology industry a plus.
