Responsibilities

  • Service, repair and improve: Working with Tesla specific software and advanced tools you will be performing repairs and maintenance on all types of Tesla vehicles, able to deal with the most challenging technical cases across all our service centers.
  • Ensure top quality: Fix it right first time, we trust you to inspect our vehicles diligently before return and pre-delivery, and support others in ensuring top quality repairs
  • Technical expertise: Be the front runner and early adopter for knowledge of all Tesla vehicle systems and subsystems, demonstrating proficiency in all subsystems and partnering with engineering and Field Technical Specialists to drive feedback based development.
  • Driven: Efficient in completing repairs yourself and supporting a wide range of team members in doing so and driven to exceed expectations on quality and productivity.
  • Collaborate: Working across teams (local and over the region) you will be sharing support and best practices in order to further improve the service experience.
  • Diagnose: be the point of contact for your service area regarding diagnostic escalations, setting the bar for diagnosis skills and ensuring others are set up for success with diagnosis activities.
  • Develop: self-develop and partner with specialists and engineers to grow your knowledge to maintain your status as the most technically versed team member.
  • Coach: Act as a leader, coach and support to technicians within the service center and beyond in your area and country, with all troubleshooting techniques and local escalation paths. Lead, coach and guide technicians to achieve highest quality work in the most efficient manner through formal and informal training.
  • Partner: Support local and area management in accomplishing targets driving service excellence across a larger footprint (like neighbouring or further locations than base service center) as they need.

Requirements

  • Technically experienced: You have extensive professional experience performing complex vehicle servicing including diagnosis and edge cases in Tesla.
  • Technically qualified: You have relevant certifications from the Tesla Service Training Team and have passed your Mastery Assessment. You will self-manage your technical expertise development.
  • A good communicator: You speak and write [English and Czech] well and know how to get your point across clearly and respectfully.
  • Ability to take the lead in the workshop and beyond, ensuring workshop flow is maintained and improved, driving performance across the entire service journey.
  • Excellent ability to coach, mentor and develop more junior technicians, being able to identify support needs independently in workshops
  • Demonstrated an excellent ability to engage in process improvements and ensuring documentation for knowledge sharing among peers and fellow technicians
  • An established ability to be self-directed and work independently, with strong organization and documentation skills
  • Safe to drive: We require you to hold a driver’s license.
  • Flexible: able to cope with dynamic and unpredictable tasks to support service business on short notice
  • You are willing to travel when needed
