At Tesla, our Service Managers are the front-line leaders of our Service operation. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional service experience to our customers, developing team members, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring Tesla Service meets the needs of our customers as well as our employees.

Our Service Managers consistently deliver excellent results across all aspects of the business: customer satisfaction, people leadership, operations, and financials.
Tesla Aalborg is one of our newer locations, just over a year old and already operating at scale with a team of 13-15 technicians and 3-4 Service Advisors. You will be leading approximately 20 direct and indirect reports in a fast-growing, high-performing environment. This is a role for someone who builds great teams and drives a strong performance culture, in equal measure.
Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop everyone at your location, building top talent and the future leaders of Tesla.
- Coach and mentor your team by recognising individual strengths and growth areas, driving both personal and operational excellence.
- Set the standard for what great looks like, removing roadblocks, equipping your team with the right tools, and leading from the front.
- Own the customer experience end to end, driving attention to detail and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Understand and own every service centre metric, driving continuous improvement and partnering with support teams when performance needs a push.
- Hold full financial accountability for the location, ensuring it runs in a healthy and sustainable way.
- Take responsibility for the physical environment, keeping the workplace organised, safe, and fit for purpose in partnership with facilities.
- Manage tooling inventory, cost controls, and tool orders.
- Contribute to the development of future solutions, bringing ideas, sharing knowledge, and helping build a better service operation.
Requirements
- A proven people leader with a track record of managing teams in a service-focused, technical environment. You bring energy, inclusivity, and high standards wherever you go.
- Performance-driven with a sharp KPI mindset, you know your numbers, act on them, and bring your team with you.
- People-centric at your core. You understand that a strong performance culture starts with people who feel developed, supported, and valued.
- Operational and strategic in your leadership approach, while always remaining hands-on and visible on the floor.
- Experienced in change management, with the ability to lead and engage people through uncertainty and beyond.
- Automotive industry background is a strong advantage.
- Clear and respectful communicator, fluent in Danish and English.
- Valid driving licence required.
