We are seeking an exceptional Senior Strategy Manager to join HP's Graphics Solutions Business (GSB) Strategy & Business Development Office. Reporting to the GSB Head of Strategy, this highly visible, executive-facing role will drive portfolio strategy, strategic planning, and investment prioritization across GSB. Working closely with business and functional leaders, the successful candidate will translate long-term ambitions into clear strategic choices, portfolio priorities, and growth plans—helping strengthen GSB's competitive position and shape the future of the graphics industry.

What You Will Do 

Lead Strategic Planning Across GSB

  • Lead GSB’s strategic planning, including long-range planning, portfolio reviews, and executive strategy discussions. 
  • Translate GSB's long-term vision into actionable strategic priorities, portfolio choices, investment trade-offs and business initiatives. 
  • Partner with business units and strategy partners to develop, connect, and align business strategies, technology roadmaps, market plans, and cross-GSB priorities. 
  • Develop executive-level recommendations and strategic narratives for senior leadership discussions. 
     

Drive Portfolio Management & Investment Prioritization

  • Develop an integrated view of GSB's business portfolio, including core businesses, growth platforms, software and solutions, and emerging opportunities. 
  • Evaluate portfolio performance, market attractiveness, growth potential, profitability, strategic fit, and investment trade-offs. 
  • Shape investment prioritization and resource allocation recommendations across GSB. 
  • Identify opportunities to create value through cross-business collaboration, shared capabilities, portfolio synergies and integrated offerings. 
     

 Act as a Strategic Advisor to Leadership

  • Structure and lead analyses addressing GSB's most important strategic questions. 
  • Develop market assessments, scenario analyses and business cases, that clarify strategic options, risks, and trade-offs. 
  • Facilitate executive discussions by translating complex issues into clear choices, implications, and recommendations. 
  • Shape strategic content and executive narratives for leadership teams, board reviews and key planning & business forums. 
     

Support Inorganic Growth & Strategic Partnerships

  • Support evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships where they impact GSB portfolio choices. 
  • Ensure inorganic opportunities are assessed in the context of GSB strategy, portfolio priorities, and long-term value creation.
     

Build One-GSB Alignment

  • Work across business units and supporting functions to create alignment around strategic priorities. 
  • Serve as a key connector between business units, helping identify opportunities for synergy, integration, and shared value creation. 
  • Establish a common strategic framework, planning cadence, and portfolio dialogue across GSB. 
  • Move strategy discussions from updates to execution by creating clear forums, choices, and follow-up. 
     

Who You Will Work With

You will work directly with the GSB Head of Strategy and collaborate closely with: 

  • GSB Strategy & Business Development leadership team 
  • Business Unit General Managers and BU Strategy Partners 
  • Finance and portfolio management teams 
  • Product, technology, and roadmap leaders 
  • Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development teams 
  • Regional and go-to-market organizations 
     

Who We Are Looking For 

Experience

  • 7-12 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning, investment banking, corporate development, or business transformation. 
  • Proven experience leading complex strategic initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders. 
  • Experience developing business strategies, portfolio recommendations, investment cases and executive-level decision materials. 
  • Experience or strong exposure to technology, industrial manufacturing, software, services, or capital equipment businesses. 
  • Experience with M&A, strategic partnerships, venture investments, or portfolio expansion is highly desirable.

  • Strong financial, analytical skills, with the ability to translate analysis into executive recommendations. 
  • Ability to connect market trends, customer needs, technology evolution, and business performance into actionable strategic recommendations. 
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities. 
  • Strong relationship-building and influence skills, including the ability to lead through influence without formal authority. 
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving, and global environments. 
  • Ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups while maintaining pace and decision clarity. 
     

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • MBA or equivalent advanced business education preferred.
