US: $262000 - $364000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

Drive the long-term engineering strategy, incorporating organizational business priorities and technological shifts.
Own key technical decisions, guiding the team through design tradeoffs, safety considerations, and risk management.
Identify system hotspots to improve technical health and remove widely-felt barriers to productivity.
Work cross-functionally to ensure features are built consistently across different platforms.
Coach the next generation of technical leaders through direct mentorship and scalable initiatives.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++.
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing or launching software products.
Experience operating as a technical authority on systems and leading projects.
Experience driving technical and process improvements across engineering organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
Experience leading technical strategy, scaling architecture, and anticipating obstacles in shifting environments.
