As a Senior Staff Product Applications Engineer on our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long-lasting partnerships that thrive on success.

Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Product application support of low-voltage high-current DC/DC buck converter for computing, networking, communication and AI applications
- Design and test new product evaluation boards
- Validate new products for customer applications.
- Create Go-to-Market demo boards, reference designs, application notes and design tools for new products
- Support customer design-in activities including schematic & layout reviews, board bring up, system-level validation and debugging of technical problem
- Benchmarking of competitor’s products and generating fighting guides
- Provide technical training to FAEs, sales, and customers
- Approximately 10% of travel time to provide on-site customer support
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- MSEE with 3-5 years working experience in the field of Power Electronics
- Comprehensive knowledge of DC/DC power conversion topologies, power MOSFET characteristics, magnetics and control loop design
- Hands-on experience in designing high-frequency DC/DC converters.
- Proficient in using digital oscilloscopes, function generators and network analyzers for the test and debug of switching power supplies
- Experienced in using schematic entry, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools
- Familiar with I2C/PMBus and AVS bus serial communication protocols
- Effectively multi-task, manage priorities and solve technical problems independently
- Well-organized with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to collaborate with PDE, FAE, Sales and work effectively in a team environment

Salary pay information:
LocationIndicative salary rangeWarwick, RI and Morrisville, NC, United StatesWage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:US$ 129,600– US$ 178,200
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
