Senior Staff Engineer
We’re hiring experienced Embedded Firmware Engineers to drive the development of next-generation UWB, Wireless Communication, and RTOS-based solutions. If you have expertise in 802.11, UWB MAC/UCI, Embedded C, and wireless technologies, join us in building innovative connectivity solutions.
Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, modular, and high-performance UWB MAC/UCI firmware solutions.
- Design and develop firmware aligned with IEEE 802.15.4 UWB PHY/MAC standards.
- Port, integrate, and optimize MAC and firmware components on RTOS-based platforms.
- Develop robust UWB software modules (UCI, MAC, NBA) with a focus on simplicity, reliability, scalability, maintainability, and reusability.
- Implement and enhance FiRa, CCC, and Aliro-compliant UCI, MAC, and Math Library layers using C and MATLAB.
- Drive the development of unit test frameworks, integration test environments, and MAC application examples to ensure software quality.
- Integrate software validation into CI/CD pipelines and support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain automated regression, qualification, and verification test suites to ensure product reliability and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end firmware solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software architecture, development processes, and testing methodologies.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in Embedded Software/Firmware development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards and software stacks related to Ultra-Wideband (UWB MAC/UCI) or other wireless technologies such as BLE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LoRa.
- Proficient in C/Embedded C programming with strong hands-on development experience; knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts is preferred.
- Solid experience in system architecture, design methodologies, and development workflows.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to Automotive industry standards and processes such as ASPICE, ISO 21434, and ISO 26262 is an added advantage.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical deliverables and business objectives.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and highly motivated individual with a strong team-oriented mindset.
