Senior Specialist Business Analyst AI
As concept developer and act as liaison with business owner (Operation/Production and Functional Owner) and AI technical development/Data Science team to ensure business requirements are understood and translated into clear AI scope and objective for implementation.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Proactive, technically fluent AI Business Analyst to bridge the gap between core business operations and data science engineering teams
- Identify high-impact AI/ML and generative AI opportunities, translate complex business challenges into structured technical requirements, and drive the adoption of intelligent automation solutions that deliver measurable ROI
- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and data pipeline requirements for ML engineers and data scientists.
- Identify high-value AI use cases, and conduct feasibility and ROI assessments
- Evaluate data availability, quality, and governance constraints to ensure suitability for model training and deployment
- Ensure all AI initiatives align with organizational data privacy policies, ethical AI frameworks, and regulatory compliance standards
- Lead as PJM during concept, ideation, and POC (Proof-of-Concept) phases (breakthrough new concept introduction)
- Harmonize business process/work-method to enable analytics/AI solutions into implementation
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner, with at least 1–2 years supporting AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics initiatives
- Technical Fluency: Strong conceptual understanding of machine learning algorithms, python, C++, deep learning, NLP, and Large Language Models (LLMs). Analytical Tools: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis; hands-on experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and workflow management platforms (Jira, Confluence)
- Able to communicate and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good in communication and presentation skill
