Senior Software Engineer - Translation & Multilingual Intelligence

Description
You will be primarily responsible for developing our low-level frameworks and services that
connect state-of-the-art Machine Learning models and inference engines to the variety of
Translation experiences across all of our platforms! You will be working with many partner teams
including Asset management, Phone/FaceTime and Messages.
To succeed in this role, you are a strong programmer and a creative problem solver who enjoys
learning new things. You are passionate about developing new features, maintaining existing
code, fixing bugs, and contributing to overall system design. You are a great teammate who
thrives in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. As a senior member of our team, you will be expected to be a leader of projects and people.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years development experience with Objective C and/or Swift
- Experience in object-oriented software design and programming
- Framework-level programming including multi-threaded architectures and cross-process communication
- Accomplished debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong testing discipline
- Project Leadership
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of industrial working experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years development experience with Objective-C and/or Swift
- Experience with user features that integrate or adopt language modeling technologies
- Understanding of issues with delivering features for an international audience
- Experience with AI Tools to support coding, reviews and code analysis
