We are looking for: Senior Software Engineer – Firmware (C++, Linux) - EPNA

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Develop and maintain embedded firmware for connected devices and gateways.
  • Design secure, scalable, and high-performance embedded software solutions.
  • Collaborate with hardware, QA, DevOps, and product teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support product releases, troubleshooting, and long-term maintainability of solutions.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware/software development.
  • Certifications, training, or specialized courses in Embedded Systems are an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills & Experience
  • Embedded Software Development
  • Strong programming skills in C and C++, with solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles.
  • Experience with Bare Metal and RTOS-based embedded systems development.
  • Strong understanding of ARM Cortex-M architectures, bootloaders, and firmware design.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux, including U-Boot, device drivers, and Linux internals.
  • Familiarity with additional RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or QNX.
  • Firmware & System Design
  • Analyze hardware schematics and electronic designs from a firmware perspective.
  • Design robust, reusable, maintainable, and testable software components.
  • Experience with Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) updates and related security considerations.
  • Understanding of system-level debugging, performance optimization, memory management, and concurrency issues.
  • Linux & Software Engineering
  • Development and debugging of multi-threaded applications using POSIX threads, synchronization primitives, and IPC mechanisms.
  • Experience with Linux kernel internals and device driver development.
