Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Drive and manage product development projects for high-voltage MOSFETs (Si, SiC) and potentially multicomponent products (e.g., switch + driver IC)
- Take ownership of end-to-end project planning, reporting, and documentation
- Align and coordinate project requirements within a worldwide distributed team (EU, US, APAC)
- Lead cross-functional product development teams, ensuring clear targets, structured work package distribution, and team focus
- Establish and run effective team and meeting structures to enable fluent communication and stakeholder alignment
- Manage project risks and guide the team through problem-solving and escalation situations
- Moderate discussions of technical experts to support robust decision-making based on your functional knowledge
- Ensure project success by tracking deliverables, milestones, and agreed project targets
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A degree in Electronics, Microelectronics, Physics, or a similar field
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor domain (incl. relevant PhD experience), with solid knowledge of semiconductor devices and power switches (device physics of Si or SiC)
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager for R&D projects, including at least one project managed from start to closure
- A formal Project Management certification (ideally IPMA Level C) or relevant training
- Strong leadership skills and flexibility to deal with changes during projects
- Proven structured working style, including strong presentation, documentation, and risk management skills
- Knowledge of Infineon’s power switch technologies and product portfolio is an advantage
- Excellent English communication skills; German skills or willingness to learn German is a plus
