The Business Excellence – Operations (BE Ops) organization plays a critical role in enabling delivery success through strong governance, financial discipline, operational rigor, and data-driven insights across ISD engagements. 

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) in BE Ops is a senior individual contributor role responsible for driving end-to-end project and portfolio governance, financial predictability, and operational excellence across engagements aligned to an ISD Area. 

This role primarily operates as a trusted advisor and orchestrator, enabling delivery teams and Area leadership to achieve predictable, high-quality outcomes, while also requiring direct management of delivery execution in select scenarios. 


Responsibilities

Portfolio Governance & Delivery Orchestration 

  • Own governance across a portfolio of engagements, ensuring alignment to ISD delivery frameworks, processes, and quality standards 
  • Orchestrate across delivery teams, Area PMs, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution across all lifecycle phases 
  • Identify cross-project dependencies, risks, and systemic issues, and drive resolution at portfolio level 

Financial Management & Predictability 

  • Own portfolio-level financial oversight including consumption, forecasting, cost management, and revenue predictability 
  • Drive forecast accuracy and financial discipline across engagements, ensuring timely corrective actions 
  • Identify financial risks (leakage, overruns, aging engagements) and lead recovery planning 

Risk, Issue & Compliance Leadership 

  • Drive proactive identification and mitigation of risks, issues, and compliance gaps 
  • Ensure adherence to governance requirements including project hygiene, audit readiness, ISRA compliance, and decrement closure 
  • Lead structured escalation management with clear resolution ownership and timelines 

Executive Reporting & Insights 

  • Deliver leadership-ready reporting (dashboards, executive summaries, portfolio insights) with clear narratives and actions 
  • Provide data-driven insights on portfolio health, trends, and areas requiring leadership intervention 
  • Simplify and standardize reporting frameworks to improve clarity and decision-making 

Stakeholder Engagement & Advisory 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Area leadership on governance, financials, and operational improvements 
  • Establish strong communication cadence with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on risks, priorities, and actions 
  • Influence without direct authority to drive alignment and outcomes 

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement 

  • Identify and drive process improvements, standardization, and efficiency initiatives across engagements 
  • Lead initiatives to improve project hygiene, delivery consistency, and PMO effectiveness 
  • Scale best practices across the PMO 

Automation & AI Enablement 

  • Drive adoption of automation, Copilot, and AI-driven solutions to reduce manual effort and improve insights 
  • Deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cycle time, or reporting quality 
  • Promote reusable solutions and best practices across the team 

Capability Building & PMO Leadership 

  • Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as financial governance, reporting, or portfolio management 
  • Mentor and coach Project Managers and Process Leads to elevate PMO maturity 
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, training sessions, and capability development 

Qualifications
  • Proven 10+ years of experience in supporting complex technology projects or programs, including delivery across scope, cost, schedule, and quality 
  • Strong background in project/program management and consulting engagements. 

    Proven ability to orchestrate multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders, cross‑functional delivery teams, and partners 
  • Experience in financial governance, forecasting, and commercial management 
  • Expertise in risk, issue, and change management, including leading scope and budget impact assessments. Proven abilities to manage risks related to Data readiness and quality, Model governance and ethical AI considerations 
  • Ability to translate requirements along with AI capabilities into business outcomes, aligning use cases to Customer strategy and value realization
