Amazon is building the fastest, most reliable transportation network in the Middle East and North Africa. As Program Manager for 3PL and Direct Imports, you own the third-party carrier relationships and cross-border import programs that move vendor returns, customer returns, and direct-import freight across the region.

You will own carrier performance, launch new third-party lanes and services, and solve the operational problems that surface as the MENA network scales. You will negotiate with carriers, partner with internal teams across Supply Chain and Transportation, and turn network data into decisions that improve cost, speed, and customer experience.

This role suits an operator who wants direct ownership, external negotiation, and measurable impact on a growing network.

Key job responsibilities
  • Own performance management reviews (cost, speed, quality) for vendor returns and customer returns across MENA.
  • Own third-party logistics projects in MENA end to end, and deliver them on schedule and to the target customer experience.
  • Integrate new carriers and launch new services with existing third-party providers.
  • Run Weekly and Monthly Business Reviews for the MENA third-party logistics program, and drive the actions that come out of them.
  • Prepare and lead operations calls, DBRs, WBRs, MBRs, and QBRs with 3PL carriers.
  • Drive continuous-improvement initiatives with carriers, fulfillment centers, and customer service teams to reduce cost and improve customer experience.
  • Alert Amazon leadership to critical situations, with quantified impact and a mitigation plan.
  • Produce and communicate transport plans and forecasts.
  • Own returns-related escalations, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions with cross-functions support.
A day in the life
ou start by reviewing overnight carrier performance against cost, speed, and quality targets, and flag any lane that missed. You lead an operations call with a 3PL carrier to close out an escalation, then work a root-cause analysis with a fulfillment center on a returns defect. In the afternoon you build the business case for a new import lane, review the numbers with your Supply Chain and Transportation partners, and prepare the WBR narrative for leadership. Your customers are Amazon's vendors and end customers; your partners are carriers, fulfillment centers, and customer service.
