Senior Product Marketing Manager, Demos & Customer Acquisition
We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager, Demos & Customer Acquisition to build demos and customer-acquisition experiences for Microsoft Foundry and Microsoft AI. You will use the product yourself, learn its capabilities and limits, and turn an idea into something a customer can try.
This is a hands-on building role within marketing. You will use customer feedback, research, and product data to understand where people struggle, then build and test experiences that address those barriers. You will work with Product, Engineering, Design, Research, product marketers, and Data and Growth.
The right person has good product instincts, an eye for design, and the technical ability to get a working version in front of people quickly. For a tightly scoped idea, that may mean a functional prototype the same day. You should know how to use AI-assisted development tools, debug the result, and judge what is ready to show.
Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

- Make the experience easy to follow. Use product and design judgment to simplify the steps, remove distractions, and make the important parts of the product visible.
- Work with the Strategic Events and Creative lead to adapt demos for keynotes, sessions, booths, and other customer settings.
Customer acquisition and experimentation
- Partner with Data and Growth, Product, and Research to map priority customer journeys and identify pain points and drop-off. Use customer feedback, behavioral data, and retention or churn signals to prioritize barriers this role can address.
- Build and test demos, prototypes, and interactive experiences that address those barriers. Use customer feedback and behavioral data to decide what to improve, scale, or stop.
- Measure whether changes help customers reach value and continue using the product, using agreed measures and comparable baselines. Bring product-level issues to Product and Engineering with evidence and proposed solutions.
- Add the instrumentation needed to evaluate experiments. Document what changed, how customers responded, and what the team learned so successful approaches can be reused.
Product knowledge, readiness, and reuse
- Stay close to the product through regular use of its features, APIs, and development tools. Bring specific examples of customer and developer friction back to Product and Engineering.
- Confirm technical accuracy and readiness with the relevant teams. Distinguish available capabilities from prototypes, follow security, privacy, accessibility, and responsible-AI requirements, and prepare rehearsals and fallbacks for live demos.
- Document setup and implementation so event, field, campaign, and Developer Relations teams can reuse the work. Balance urgent demo requests with acquisition experiments and improvements to existing assets.
