As a Senior Product Manager for NA Stores Selection Strategy, you'll drive a critical element of Amazon's flywheel — expanding, prioritizing, and optimizing product selection across the US market. This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of technology, analytics, and retail operations. You'll partner with Retail category teams, 3P Marketplace, and Amazon Business stakeholders, as well as global tech teams (Selection Monitoring, Brand Segmentation) and international counterparts (EU Selection Strategy) to improve selection coverage, data quality, and catalog onboarding at scale.

You'll own the frameworks that determine which brands and products are most important to our catalog — building brand universes, defining prioritization criteria, and driving mechanisms that close competitive gaps. You'll have regular exposure to senior leadership through monthly and quarterly business reviews, where you'll present progress against critical goals and recommend new strategic bets.

We're looking for a strong operator who maintains high standards while moving fast — someone who builds rigorous processes, meets ambitious timelines, and has the backbone to push back when needed to ensure the right customer outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
- Own and evolve the brand prioritization framework that determines which brands and products matter most across our retail, marketplace, and business-to-business channels, including ongoing brand segmentation, nomination, and universe quality management

- Own the Buyability roadmap for the NAS Selection team: define the strategy for product availability measurement, defect identification, and resolution, while continuously improving the accuracy of our coverage metrics

- Own selection health programs end-to-end, from validating data sources and identifying catalog gaps through translating findings into actionable sourcing or marketplace expansion roadmaps

- Drive the selection reporting cadence, including leadership-facing narratives, monthly performance updates, quarterly business reviews, and annual planning inputs (goal-setting, investment narratives), and translate metric movements into strategic recommendations for NA and worldwide leadership

- Drive new feature development and automation by partnering with tech teams (e.g., Selection Monitoring, RBS, and others) to define requirements for tooling, algorithms, and data pipelines that reduce manual intervention and enable the team to operate at increasing scale
