Senior Product Manager, Google Photos, Search

Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers. Responsibilities
- Lead Search in Google Photos. Search is incredibly important today and even more important as we transform Google Photos to be more agentic.
- Be responsible for the end-to-end search experience, across user experience, quality, and safety. Be responsible for evolving Search into a platform, that can power many other features and teams across Photos - including Gemini, Personal Context, etc.
- Develop a combination of user obsession, investigative excellence, technical fluency, bias to action, communication skills, and organizational leadership without authority.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
- Experience in image understanding and retrieval.
- Experience working on a large consumer products.
- Experience shipping LLM or GenAI-powered experiences that users love.
- Experience building search features and experiences. And executive communication experience.
