Description and Requirements
The Senior Commercial Pricing Strategist will shape and drive ISG pricing strategy for global markets (ISO) by evaluating performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and recommending adjustments that align pricing with business and financial objectives. This role will lead the development and management of pricing frameworks balancing growth, margin optimization, and effective market positioning. Serving as a key strategic partner to finance and regional leaders, the senior strategist evaluates pricing performance and makes data-informed recommendations that guide pricing adjustments and business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead global ISG pricing strategies and frameworks that support revenue growth, margin optimization, and competitive market positioning.
- Analyze pricing performance across products, geographies, customer segments, and deal sizes, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending pricing actions.
- Drive data-driven pricing decisions by evaluating market trends, financial performance, discounting patterns, win rates, and price elasticity.
- Partner with Finance, Sales, and regional stakeholders to align pricing recommendations with business objectives and market conditions.
- Manage quarterly pricing reviews and ongoing performance assessments, ensuring pricing remains competitive and aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee channel, high-velocity, and inventory-related pricing programs to support market responsiveness and sell-through performance.
- Communicate pricing recommendations, business impact, and supporting analysis to senior leadership, influencing strategic decision-making.
- Monitor the effectiveness of pricing initiatives and continuously refine strategies based on financial, operational, and market outcomes.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, business analytics, or operations.
- Demonstrated success managing pricing processes across multiple product groups or markets.
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and data visualization tools.
- Proven experience collaborating across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of technology industry pricing dynamics (infrastructure, servers, and storage).

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is 50,800–74,470 EUR per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
