Senior Partner Agreements BD Lead, AWS Partner Agreements

Amazon Web ServicesPublished 22 hours agoFirst seen 2 hours ago
We're looking for a builder who wants to shape how AWS partners experience their most critical growth programs from end to end. This role sits at the center of our partner agreements ecosystem, where you'll own the workflow architecture, measurement systems, and operational infrastructure that power the partner agreement journey, from program design and partner selection through execution and performance measurement.

You'll work across analytics, engineering, and go-to-market teams to:

- Design and scale the operational and measurement infrastructure that powers partner agreement programs end-to-end

- Establish standardized performance frameworks so partners, field teams, and leadership all have a consistent, trustworthy view of progress

- Architect workflows that connect pre-signature campaign design to post-signature partner activation, reducing manual handoffs and scaling through automation

- Align cross-functional stakeholders (data engineering, sales operations, business planning) on shared definitions, data standards, and reporting systems
  • Build self-service tools and documentation that enable field teams to support partners independently
  • Identify and drive opportunities to apply AI and automation across the partner agreement journey, transforming manual, repetitive processes into intelligent, scalable systems that improve speed, accuracy, and partner experience over time
This is a high-ownership role. You won't just maintain existing processes. You'll define how partner performance is measured, how agreement workflows operate, and how we scale a growing portfolio of agreement programs without adding complexity. If you like building systems that make messy things clean and manual things automatic, this is for you.

Key job responsibilities
  • Design and scale the workflow architecture and measurement infrastructure that powers partner agreement programs from program design and partner selection through execution and performance tracking
  • Establish standardized performance frameworks, KPI definitions, and data quality standards that provide partners, field teams, and leadership with a consistent, trustworthy view of program progress
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders across data engineering, sales operations, and business planning on shared data definitions and reporting systems to eliminate inconsistencies across internal and external reporting
  • Architect end-to-end workflows that reduce manual handoffs between pre-signature and post-signature phases, progressively automating repeatable steps and scaling through platform configuration
  • Identify and drive opportunities to apply AI and automation across the partner agreement journey, transforming manual processes into intelligent, scalable systems that improve speed, accuracy, and partner experience
  • Incubate new workflow and reporting patterns as the organization introduces new program types, prototyping manually, validating with real partners, then codifying proven patterns into scalable platform logic
  • Monitor operational and measurement system health, identifying where processes break or data quality degrades, and driving resolution through configuration changes or engineering requirements
A day in the life
Your day starts where systems meet people. You might begin the morning reviewing partner performance data to catch anomalies before a field team flags them. By mid-morning, you're with a data engineering team aligning on how a KPI should be calculated consistently across dashboards, reports, and payout systems. After lunch, you're prototyping a workflow for a new agreement type, identifying what needs human judgment and what can be automated. Between meetings, you're exploring where AI can eliminate friction: auto-generating performance summaries, flagging at-risk agreements, or replacing manual reconciliation. Your stakeholders span data engineering, sales operations, business planning, and field teams.

About the team
We're a small, high-ownership team that builds the systems and processes behind how AWS engages its strategic partners through agreement-based programs. Our work spans the entire partner agreement journey: how programs are designed, how partners are selected, how performance is measured, and how the field supports partners at scale. We sit at the intersection of business development, data engineering, sales operations, and program management. Our team is moving from manual processes toward a scalable, AI-powered platform. You'll join at the ground floor, helping shape what gets built and how it operates. We value builders who take ambiguous problems and create structure.
