We are looking for: Senior MCAD Solution Support & Automation Engineer – Siemens NX / Teamcenter (m/f/d)
You’ll make an impact by:
- Provide second-level technical support for Siemens NX, Teamcenter Visualization, and Teamcenter, ensuring stable and reliable application performance.
- Analyse and resolve complex incidents and problems to improve the efficiency and stability of the engineering environment.
- Translate engineering and product development requirements into effective MCAD and PLM solutions.
- Plan, specify, implement, test, and release technical solutions that support global engineering operations.
- Customise and automate Siemens NX using NX Open to streamline engineering workflows.
- Develop automation solutions using C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, or Visual Basic.
- Create and maintain Knowledge Fusion and Check-Mate solutions to improve engineering and design data quality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and global IT stakeholders to integrate, upgrade, and enhance MCAD and PLM processes.
You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:
- Bringing 8+ years of experience supporting and administering Teamcenter and related PLM environments.
- Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline, complemented by strong IT or programming knowledge.
- Demonstrating proven experience developing software and automation solutions for engineering applications.
- Applying strong knowledge of Siemens NX, NX Open, Teamcenter, and Teamcenter Visualization.
- Using C#, C++, Python, PowerShell, or Visual Basic to develop and enhance engineering solutions.
- Customising and automating MCAD applications within complex engineering environments.
- Leveraging Knowledge Fusion and Check-Mate expertise for validation, automation, and data quality initiatives.
- Understanding MCAD, PLM, R&D, and mechanical engineering processes, supported by strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
