Pay Transparency

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is €81,900 - €134,550 which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Pension, Life Insurance, Annual Leave, and Wellness Program.


Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic and operational problems for our clients.  VCA's core client segments include retail banks/issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.

We're looking for an experienced consultant with deep knowledge of payments, banking or financial services to join our Consulting team in Germany. This is an opportunity to work with senior executives at some of Germany's most influential financial institutions while leveraging Visa's global expertise, data and innovation capabilities.

As a Senior Manager, you'll lead high-impact consulting engagements for leading financial institutions across Germany and Central Europe.

You will:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to banks, fintechs, payment providers and other financial services organizations
• Lead client engagements from problem definition through analysis, recommendation development and implementation support
• Manage multiple consulting projects while ensuring exceptional client experience and delivery quality
• Develop actionable strategies that drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, digital adoption and profitability
• Support clients in building and scaling innovative digital banking and payment propositions
• Analyze complex customer, portfolio and transaction data to generate strategic insights and business recommendations
• Help clients address emerging industry challenges, including digital transformation, customer engagement, fraud prevention and evolving payment trends
• Identify new opportunities to support clients and contribute to the growth of Visa Consulting & Analytics
• Collaborate with experts across Visa including Product, Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Innovation and Risk teams
• Mentor and develop colleagues while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing consulting culture

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. 

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

We're interested in candidates who bring a combination of consulting, payments, banking or digital transformation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant experience in management consulting, strategy, digital transformation, payments, banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of the payments, banking, fintech or broader financial services ecosystem
• Experience leading client-facing projects and delivering measurable business outcomes
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and executive audiences
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and structured thinking skills
• Experience working with data-driven decision making and translating insights into actionable recommendations
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills within cross-functional or matrix organizations
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and client impact
• Fluency in both German and English
