This role will be responsible for the sell-in and sell out support of NCME product categories in National Retail. This role will work hand in hand with the MX account teams and NCME product management teams to provide sales insights to enable growth strategies and operational excellence.
- Accountable for sales performance by account including promo recommendations and cross channel management to deliver medium- to longer-term planning.
- Develop and execute sales strategies, plans and programs to ensure NCME sales targets are achieved. Responsible for TP planning and budgeting.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
- The ability to convince others, in a potentially adversarial and highly price competitive environment, including customer leadership, VPs, directors & managers, staff, and customers with opposing views to accept/approve plans, marketing, and project recommendations.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects.
- Read and interpret detailed sales and marketing documents, media materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy.
- This role will work hand in hand with the MX account teams and NCME product management teams to provide sales insights to enable growth strategies and operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business and/or engineering with 8+ years of directly related experience is required.
- Prior management experience in sales strategy for a diverse mobile portfolio required.
- Prior experience with sales in the distributor and/or retail channels is required.
- Must have experience with P&L management.
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels, especially in the sales and marketing, logistical, or finance.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
- Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials as needed.
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
- Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve customer business objectives, personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames and specifications.
- The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to influence strategies and make decisions using a data driven approach
- Ability to use a structured problem solving approach in an ambiguous situation
- Plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment
- Ability to synthesize complex business information and make professional business presentations. Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to establish and develop data models, scenario based analysis and other deep analytical approaches to solve business and sales problems
- Ability to work in a team environment, working against individual and shared objectives
- Ability to accept tasks and work to resolve problems, when only broad and general guidelines exist
