We work with a strongly integrated system and a highly automated processing environment and digital workforce.
Our customers receive innovative, easy-to-use services. We deliver maximum value to the business by driving process optimization and digitalization using our ambitious approach, and we support our customers’ current and future business requirements with the help of our high level of process and automation competency.
Position Overview:
We are looking for Senior Manager – Accounts Payable with deep end-to-end operational knowledge across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and general Finance & Accounting (F&A) processes. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader and front-end change agent with a proven track record in driving global process transformations, automation initiatives, and seamless transition management.
This role demands exceptional customer and stakeholder management skills, expertise in navigating complex ERP/SAP environments, and the ability to mentor and lead high-performing teams while ensuring high quality, SLA compliance, and process efficiency.
You’ll make a difference by:
Operational & Service Delivery Excellence
- Lead and supervise day-to-day Accounts Payable operations, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and compliance standards (invoice processing, payment runs, vendor reconciliations, 3-way matching, and exception handling).
- Maintain a robust end-to-end understanding of Accounts Payable and overlapping Order-to-Cash (Accounts Receivable) interfaces to optimize total working capital and vendor experience.
- Function as an escalation point to resolve complex operational queries, vendor disputes, and system/process bottlenecks.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a primary client-facing contact and strategic partner for key business stakeholders, procurement teams, and external vendors.
- Handle customer expectations, lead operational governance reviews (QBRs/MBRs), and drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction scores (CSAT).
Transformation, Automation & Transition Leadership
- Lead Transformation from the Front: Drive digital transformation, automation (RPA, AI, OCR workflow tools), and continuous improvement initiatives across the P2P value chain.
- Lead and handle transition projects—from business case preparation, shadow tracking, and process mapping to steady-state operational handover.
- Identify process redundancies and drive standardization across different geographies or entities.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Handle, mentor, and coach a team of AP team leads and analysts, fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance team culture.
- Drive team performance management, talent retention, resource planning, and capability building.
- Promote cross-skilling across AP/AR domains to build business resilience and team agility.
Your success is grounded
- Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent experience or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent.
- Experience: 10–15 years of dynamic experience in F&A / Shared Services / GBS, with at least 9-12 years in a managerial or team lead capacity over Accounts Payable
- ERP & Tool Expertise: Hands-on proficiency in ERP environments (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) alongside workflow engines and ticketing suites (e.g., ServiceNow, SNOW, VIM, ReadSoft).
- Transformation Track Record: Demonstrated experience in leading process transitions, process re-engineering (PDCA, Lean Six Sigma), and automation rollouts.
- Communication & Stakeholder Handling: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders and handle high-pressure customer situations effortlessly.
- Attention to detail and customer-focused attitude.
