Role Summary

The Senior, Affiliate will lead strategy, performance, and expansion of McAfee's global affiliate marketing channel. This role is responsible for driving efficient customer acquisition, revenue growth, and long-term partnership development through a diverse ecosystem of affiliate, content, commerce, loyalty, coupon, creator, and strategic distribution partners.

As a senior leader within the Acquisition team, this individual will own the affiliate channel roadmap, partnering closely with agency teams, affiliate networks, analytics, finance, brand, product, and broader media stakeholders to deliver against acquisition, efficiency, and lifetime value objectives.

The ideal candidate combines deep affiliate marketing expertise with strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills. They will be responsible for scaling existing partnerships, identifying new growth opportunities, negotiating strategic agreements, and evolving the affiliate channel into a key driver of profitable customer growth.

This is a Hybrid position located in New York, NY. We value in-office collaboration and meaningful interactions, so expect that you will be able to be in the office on a regular basis according to team needs.

Position Details

About the role:

Affiliate Strategy & Execution 

  • Own the end-to-end affiliate marketing strategy across all partner segments, including content, commerce, loyalty, coupon, review, creator, and strategic affiliate partnerships.  
  • Develop and execute growth plans that drive customer acquisition, subscriptions, revenue, and profitability.  
  • Establish annual channel objectives, investment strategies, and long-term growth roadmaps aligned to company goals.  
  • Identify new partnership opportunities, emerging business models, and innovative affiliate solutions to drive incremental growth.  
  • Partner with leadership to define channel priorities, expansion strategies, and performance targets. 

Channel Ownership & Optimization 

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for affiliate marketing, maintaining deep knowledge of industry trends, platforms, attribution methodologies, and competitive dynamics.  
  • Drive continuous optimization of partner portfolios, commission structures, incentives, placements, and promotional strategies.  
  • Analyze partner-level and channel-level performance to identify opportunities for scale, efficiency, and incremental value.  
  • Develop testing frameworks to evaluate new partner types, promotional models, and performance-driving initiatives.  
  • Collaborate with Creative and Brand teams to ensure affiliate partner placements and messaging align with broader marketing objectives. 

Agency & Partner Management 

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key affiliates, commerce, publisher, and strategic partners.  
  • Lead negotiations on commercial agreements, commission structures, exclusive placements, and growth initiatives.  
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential partners that align with McAfee's acquisition and revenue objectives.  
  • Develop joint business plans with strategic partners to maximize growth and long-term value creation.  
  • Represent McAfee externally within the affiliate ecosystem and establish strong relationships across industry networks. 

Performance, Measurement & Insights 

  • Own affiliate forecasting, budget planning, and revenue projections.  
  • Monitor channel performance against acquisition, ROAS, revenue, and customer value targets.  
  • Partner with Analytics teams to improve attribution models, incrementality measurement, and performance reporting.  
  • Translate complex performance data into clear business recommendations for executive stakeholders.  

About you:

  • 8+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce, or performance media.  
  • Proven track record managing and scaling multi-million-dollar affiliate programs.  
  • Deep understanding of affiliate ecosystems, publisher models, affiliate networks, tracking technologies, and attribution methodologies.  
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience structuring strategic partnerships and growth agreements.  
  • Experience leading agencies, vendors, or cross-functional teams.  
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.  
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management capabilities.  
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.  
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Pay Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $134,470.00/Yr. - USD $200,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
