About the Role

Workday is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager on the People and Corporate Services Sourcing Team in the Financial Services and Spend Management Organization. This person will assist with the execution of Professional Services strategies.
Generally, the Senior Sourcing Manager will understand business/company requirements and apply Strategic Sourcing practices to support the business. Responsibilities include fostering business and supplier relationships, performing spend and market analysis, conducting Requests for Proposals, and negotiating contracts. The Senior Sourcing Manager will also identify strategic improvement opportunities (e.g. introducing new technologies, cost optimization, contract consolidation, and preferred supplier programs) and be a key driver in process-improvement initiatives.
The Sourcing Manager should have Sourcing, vendor management, or supply chain experience, and familiarity/experience with Professional Services procurement is required.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Sourcing, including demonstrated experience in Professional Services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or related degree program

OR (combination of below experience & education)

  • 8+ years of combined experience working in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Business, and/or Finance
  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance or related degree program
  • Experience leading processes and negotiating Professional Services contracts
  • Proven skill in spend and market analysis to identify cost savings and benchmark supplier performance
  • Track record building relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to align sourcing strategies

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
