Description and Requirements
Join Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group (SSG), a fast-growing global business dedicated to helping organizations accelerate digital transformation through innovative technology solutions and services. As part of the Solutions & Services Procurement team, you will play a key role in enabling Lenovo's growth by building strategic supplier partnerships, leading complex solution procurement initiatives, and supporting customer opportunities across Hybrid Cloud, AI & Intelligent Services, Digital Workplace, Sports, Retail, and Manufacturing. Working in a highly collaborative global environment, you will help shape competitive and scalable solutions that deliver exceptional business outcomes for customers worldwide. This role reports to the Director & PPM, Solutions & Services Procurement.
What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies that support Lenovo's Solutions & Services portfolio, enabling business growth and competitive customer offerings worldwide.
- Lead end-to-end solution procurement activities, including market analysis, supplier selection, RFx processes, contract negotiations, onboarding, performance management, and supplier governance.
- Partner with global business, sales, delivery, legal, finance, and technology teams to support complex customer opportunities and deliver commercially competitive, scalable solutions.
- Build and manage a strategic global supplier ecosystem, driving innovation, capability development, resilience, supplier performance, and long-term partnerships.
- Deliver measurable procurement value through cost savings, cost avoidance, commercial optimization, operational excellence, and continuous supplier improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate complex commercial and contractual agreements across software, SaaS, cloud, managed services, OEM/ODM, consulting, licensing, intellectual property, pricing models, service commitments, and risk management.
- Support a wide range of commercial engagement models, including Buy-and-Resell, Back-to-Back Procurement, Managed Services, Subscription, Consumption-Based, Outcome-Based, Custom Development, and Strategic Alliance partnerships.
- Drive procurement transformation and compliance, leveraging AI-enabled sourcing and analytics while ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, security, privacy, ESG, Responsible AI, trade compliance, and third-party risk requirements.
What You Will Need:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supplier management, preferably within technology, software, cloud, or solutions-based businesses.
- Strong track record of leading complex commercial negotiations and contract management, including software licensing, SaaS, cloud, managed services, OEM/ODM, and professional services agreements.
- Experience managing global supplier ecosystems and building strategic partnerships across multiple geographies and stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud, AI & Intelligent Services, Digital Workplace, Managed Services, As-a-Service business models, or enterprise technology solutions is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support complex customer opportunities and drive commercial outcomes.
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data, automation, AI tools, and procurement technologies to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced global environment while ensuring compliance, risk management, and governance requirements.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €32900–48180 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process.
In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities.
For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
