Join us at Electronic Arts (EA), where you will help inspire the world to play by designing accessible, engaging mobile games for millions of players. You will report to the Director of Product and collaborate with a diverse team including engineers, UX, and research partners. As part of EA's EAX organization, you will shape the creative direction of our unreleased mobile experience focused on once-a-day-puzzle games. You will guide the discovery phase, prototype original concepts, and deliver game design documents ready for development.

Responsibilities:

  • You will design and document new mobile game concepts and features, including light metagame systems that align with our engagement strategy.
  • You will lead creative vision workshops with product, UX, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and actionable outcomes.
  • You will prototype and refine game ideas rapidly, using tools like Figma and Miro to communicate flows and mechanics for daily use and subscription value.
  • You will partner with research teams to test hypotheses, gather player insights, and improve designs based on feedback.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing mobile or casual games, with at least one commercially successful title featuring social or engagement features.
  • Experience generating, documenting, and iterating on game concepts from blank slate to prototype using digital collaboration tools.
  • Experience designing gameplay loops and metagame systems that increase player engagement and retention in subscription-based ecosystems.
  • Experience with AI prototyping tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, etc.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce clear, actionable game design documents and validate gameplay balance.
